Thanks to their performances in FUT Champions during the qualification month in November, Lucas ‘DaXe’ Cuillerier and Gordon ‘Fiddle‘ Thornsberry both earned a ticket to participate to the first ever FUT Champions Cup on FIFA 18.

With respectively 156 et 152 victories out of 160 possible, the two players of Paris Saint Germain eSports comfortably got into the world top ranks on Xbox One so they will now have to defend the PSG colours in Barcelona the 26, 27 and 28th of January.

They will have to face the 62 best Xbox players in the world in order to reach the big final against the PS4 champion to win the trophy. It is a difficult event because most of the players didn’t have a chance to train in an offline competition yet. However Lucas ‘DaXe‘ Cuillerier did stack a good amount of experience and confidence after his win over Cody  at the ESWC tournament in Paris and it could be a good asset over his opponents.

This FUT Champions Cup is the first main event of the new FIFA eWorld Cup and it could already allow the two Parisians to guarantee a good FIFA 18 season. Of course the goal is to win the trophy and bring it back home but the main purpose here is to secure two of the eight tickets available that give access to the Playoffs Global Series which is the only tournament to give an entry to the World Cup at the end of the year.

January is going to be an intense month right after the winter break because the journey to the World Cup starts now. Allez Paris !
